Luza Rico, a fashion designer in Portland, OR, came to me with a bold vision for an editorial campaign—but no budget to bring it to life.

As Creative Director, I embraced the challenge with intention and imagination, curating a team of passionate collaborators—models, makeup artists, hair stylists, and photographers—who shared our creative drive.

Rather than micro-managing, I set a clear vision with the designer and gave each artist space to interpret it through their own lens. I oversaw the day of production, from logistics to styling, making sure the energy on set stayed focused and inspired.

The result was a striking, publication-ready campaign that captured the heart of her designs. It became a launchpad—earning her international features and drawing global attention to her work
